Transitional Spring Style at H&M

Ahh can you feel it ladies? Spring is in the air, it's literally just around the corner so it's time to think about some easy transitional fashion pieces to carry us seamlessly from winter and into spring. 

Top tips for transitional style

Embrace layers: They are your best friend at this time of year as spring is all about unpredictability, one moment it's warm and sunny and the next its chilly and rainy so we need to be prepared for whatever mother nature throws our way. The classic trench coat is a must have, pair with a lightweight fine knit jumper or a blouse and a lightweight scarf so that you can remove layers when needed.  

 

Mix and Match Textures: Transitioning seasons is the perfect time to experiment with textures. Mix cosy nits with airy fabrics like chiffon or linen for a visually dynamic look. Try pairing a chunky knit jumper with a flowy satin skirt for a bit of whismsical elegance. 

Another great tip is to mix spring and winter fashion i.e. wear a lovely spring/summer dress with bare legs but knee high boots for a little additional warmth and pair with a biker jacket or thick knit cardigan.
